My Enneagram Training Programs are accredited by the International Enneagram Association. Participants who want to be recognized as an Accredited Enneagram Professional can count my programs toward their own accreditation through the IEA.
Part 1 is based on my best-selling book The Enneagram Spectrum of Personality Styles: an Introductory Guide. (A 25th anniversary extended edition is coming out in 2021.) This training lays out the various pieces of the Enneagram personality puzzle.

- Participants will learn how to administer and interpret this questionnaire (available online and in hard-copy format), the only Enneagram inventory published by a major psychological test company with sufficient research to be reviewed in Buros’s Mental Measurements Yearbook
WHAT IS THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN THE TRAINING?
- Didactic input from Jerry Wagner, a clinical psychologist, International Enneagram Association (IEA) Founder, accredited with honor professional teacher, and Enneagram author, researcher, and presenter for over 40 years
- Experiential exercises to foster a practical understanding and application of the Enneagram’s theory and dynamics, facilitated by Kathryn Grant, Enneagram Accredited Professional
- 12 Modules
- Module 1: the distant and current history of the Enneagram; the construction of the Enneagram symbol; overview of the WEPSS (Wagner Enneagram Personality Style Scales.
- Module 2: the three centers of intelligence and decision making.
- Module 3: the values of each Enneagram style.
- Module 4: the adaptive visions (cognitive schemas) of each style.
- Module 5: the virtues (adaptive emotional schemas) and proficiencies (adaptive behavioral schemas) of each style.
- Module 6: the vulnerabilities of each style.
- Module 7: the idealizations (maladaptive cognitive, emotional, behavioral schemas) of each style.
- Module 8: more about the idealizations.
- Module 9: the blind spot, shadow, polarities, and defenses of each style.
- Module 10: the neighboring styles and movements of each style.
- Module 11: the subtypes of each style.
- Module 12: more about administering and interpreting the WEPSS; creating a growth program for each style.
Each module involves input, personal reflection questions, and break-out discussions. To receive a certificate as a Certified Teacher in the Enneagram Spectrum Method, along with 24 CE’s, participants must be present for all 12 modules and submit their written reflections to the instructors, Jerry Wagner, and Kathryn Grant.
