Description
With so many ways to arrange pieces of the personality puzzle, the Enneagram and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) have proven to be two of the most relevant and useful approaches for understanding the multifaceted dimensions of personality. While it is not possible to correlate or predict one’s Enneagram style from one’s Myers Briggs type, and vice versa, these typologies nuance and complement one another so well that each adds to the richness of the other. Participants will gain a fascinating overview of Enneagram personality styles and Jungian types, while exploring theories and research studies comparing the two systems, to illuminate convergence and divergence between the two. Attend the workshop to discover how 16 can seriously fit into 9!
Faculty
Dr. Jerome Wagner, an expert in both personality models, combines information to make sense of the missing pieces. Several Enneagram and Jungian inventories are available online (www.wepss.com). Registrants may want to try some of them to estimate their own types prior to the workshop. Either way, this day holds fascinating insights that may help you understand yourself as well as clients you serve in both business and clinical settings!
Audience
Mental health practitioners, business professionals, and spiritual directors—including licensed clinical psychologists, licensed professional counselors, clinical social workers, clergy members, and marriage and family therapists—as well as others who are interested in personality development, interpersonal dynamics, organizational development, groups, and personal growth
