Stretching the Boundaries of Our Type
Becoming aware of the box we may have put ourselves in is the first step
toward getting out of the box. Further thinking, feeling, and acting
out-of-the-box may require some techniques and practices. The goal of the
Gestalt approach is to help us stretch our boundaries and reconnect with all the
parts of ourselves. Using the wisdom of the Enneagram and the tools of
Gestalt therapy, we'll develop skills to heighten our awareness, integrate our
inner polarities (me and not-me) work with our resistances, and complete some
unfinished business.
Some knowledge of the Enneagram styles will be helpful.
